Michael Iskedjian, BPharm, MSc
-President (since 1994)

Michael Iskedjian has a BPharm degree from the University of Montreal and a MSc (Pharm. Admin.) degree from the University of Toronto. He has extensive experience in both pharmaceutical practice (as manager and owner) and healthcare research (in both academia and consulting).

At PharmIdeas, the research and consulting company he founded in 1994, Mr. Iskedjian has covered several areas of populations-based healthcare research, including medical outcomes research, pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology. He has published 64 peer-reviewed articles, more than 80 abstracts, and has given more than 125 presentations at medical and scientific meetings throughout the world.

John H. Walker, PhD
-Director, Research Design (2001-2015)

It is with sadness that we bid our friend and colleague, Dr. John H Walker, farewell. Dr. Walker passed away suddenly on September 21st, 2015. Dr. Walker was a professor at Brock University, and a principal at PharmIdeas since 2001. He will be missed.

Dr. Walker joined PharmIdeas in 2001 as a Principal and Director of Research. He has earned a doctorate in Management Science, with minors in Finance and Statistics, from McMaster University. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed articles and has brought more than 15 years of international experience in statistical and economic analyses.

Dr. Walker’s areas of expertise included prospective and retrospective pharmacoeconomic studies, database analyses, both cross-sectional and longitudinal, model development with various software packages, and statistical analyses. His work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, and includes research topics such as Anxiety Disorder, Glaucoma, Multiple Sclerosis, and Vaccines, among others.
