Michael Iskedjian, BPharm, MSc President Michael Iskedjian, President and founder of PharmIdeas Research and Consulting, has more than 24 years experience in pharmaceutical practice and healthcare research (in both academia and consulting). Michael has covered several areas of population-based healthcareh, epidemiology / pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics (with a special interest in utility measurement). Michael has taught pharmacoeconomics and quantitative methods, and is regularly invited as a guest speaker at colleges and universities, as well as pharmaceutical industry workshops. He has published 42 peer-reviewed articles, 53 abstracts, and has given 93 presentations at medical and scientific meetings. Michael has a BPharm degree from the University of Montréal and an MSc (Pharm. Admin.) degree from the University of Toronto . He is currently pursuing studies towards a PhD degree. He is also affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo as Research Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Health Professions. Dr. John Walker, PhD, MBA, BSc Director of Research Dr. John H. Walker received his Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in 1981. Subsequently, he completed a Master of Business Administration at McMaster University in 1983. Following this degree, he worked in the chemical industry for over a year before returning to McMaster University to complete a PhD in ManagementScience/Systems in 1992. In 1993, he obtained his Bachelor of Education from Brock University , specializing in Chemistry and Mathematics. He worked in Kuwait and in Russia for three years. After this, he returned to Canada where he worked at a major CRO, conducting prospective and retrospective clinical data analyses, developing decision analytic models, and writing reports. He developed excellent skills at using SAS and SPSS during this time. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Canadian Respiratory Journal, Current Medical Research and Opinion, European Journal of Operations Research, International Journal of Management, Journal of Glaucoma, Location Science, Multiple Sclerosis, Pediatric Drugs, and Vaccine. Poster presentations have been given at a number of international conferences. Presently he is an Associate Professor at Brock University , where he teaches courses in Information Technology and Quantitative Methods, and Director of Research at PharmIdeas. A combined total of more than 250 publications, presentations, posters, and lectures, fluency in English and French, additional capability in Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese and other languages.
